Abstract
We have developed a general architecture for representing, supporting and capturing design rationale in settings in which heterogeneous forms of representation are crucial to the design process. In this project, we hope to apply this architecture to develop a prototype system that supports the design process for complex survey instruments used by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
